I love Italy!!!

The longer I stay here the more I fall in love with Italy! I went to the Amalfi coast this weekend, and if I were to recommend anywhere to go it would definitely be there. It is one of the most beautiful places in the world. It is a total paradise.
As I approach the third week of school, its coming in full gear, with lots of traveling on my mind, I'm still learning. I learned about the fabulous designer Mariano Fortuny, he was know for his pleated silk gowns and velvet cloaks. He is originally from Spain and he loved experimenting and working with new colors. As he was insprired by many sources, his biggest influence was Richard Wagner in which he also was a costume designer for a couple of his films. One of Fortuny's first garments he produced was the Knossos scarf. It was a silk rectangular shape scarf with printed geometric shapes, which now may be worn by people today.
